▲Unified Software Development Process
We understand that business requirements evolve over time and only an
iterative and incremental development process can deliver a quality product
in a rapidly changing environment.
Technology Orbit follows standards governed by the Rational Unified Process, RUP, a leading industry standard proposed by IBM. Since RUP has the ability to be tailored according to the needs of the organization, we adapt it according to specific requirement of projects. We not only deliver a working product, but system documentation along with technical artifacts are also delivered such as
- Use-Case Models
- Business Analysis Models
- Business Architecture
- Solution Architecture
- System Design
These artifacts help us understand and pinpoint our clients’ actual needs on priority basis at each iteration of software development lifecycle. We keep our customers in the loop during iterative and incremental process which result in more successful delivery of projects which meet client requirements.
RUP also provides a disciplined approach to assigning tasks and responsibilities within a development organization. Our main objective for selecting RUP is to ensure that high-quality software is produced that meets the needs of its end users within an expected schedule and budget.
Rational Unified Process captures many of the best practices in modern software. We follow six best practices:
1. Iterative Software Development
2. Use Case Driven Modeling
3. Component Based Architecture
4. Extensible Process Framework
5. Software Quality Verification
6. Robust Change Control
