We are different in our selection process and criteria. Given a laptop with required software, if you can demonstrate during the interview that you have capability for development, then you have brighter chances of a job at Technology Orbit.

Our working environment is unique because we won't offer you a desk space. Technology Orbit offices are wireless and paperless, so you can sit around in common area, relax on sofa or have a cup of tea in eat em out area, while working on your laptop.

Your creativity is always rewarded at Technology Orbit. We have 90-10 creative work principle, where people are given 10% of their time to be spent on creative ideas and new technologies. You can use this time to come up with your own ideas for product development or you can learn new technologies by attending technology skills workshops conducted by peers.

Software Engineers


Flash and Action Script 2.0/3.0 Development (Senior Position)

You are expected to demonstrate strong Flash Action Script programming skills comparable to a 2-3 year experienced Flash developer. Experience with game development, interactive flash training software or dynamic flash rich media applications using XML is required. You will be programming exciting media rich applications. Most applications produced have a development lifecycle of a few days to a few weeks, which offers a fast pace and varied workload.

Requirements:
Salary Scale: Rs 15,000 - 50,000 depending on skills and experience

Flash and Action Script 2.0/3.0 (Junior Position)

You are expected to demonstrate Flash Action Script skills. Experience with game development, interactive flash training software or dynamic flash applications using XML is a plus. Any artistic skills with illustrator, XaraX, CorelDraw, 2D/3D animation would be great, but is not required.

You can apply for this position if you have good Java/C++/C# experience with GUI development tools such as MS Visual Studio, WinFX or IntelliJ IDEA. Training will be provided to successful candidates.   

Salary Scale: Rs 10,000 - 35,000 depending on skills and experience

Graduate Recruitment (Fresh Graduates)

You are expected to have a BS or MS degree in Computer Science from a reputed university with good programming and problem solving skills.

Requirements:  Training will be given to successful candidates.

Salary Scale: Rs 15,000 - 25,000 depending on skills.

Java Programmer (Senior Position)

You should have at least 1-3 years experience of developing web and desktop applications/products using Java Servlets, JSP, Struts and Hibernate with Apache/JBoss or any professional grade web server. Experience with CVS, ANT and J2EE is a plus. Understanding of database design principles, design patters and scalable architecture is required for this job. You have better chances of selection if you have experience with AJAX, XML, XHTML, CSS, Web 2.0 applications and server side programming. 

Salary Scale: Rs 15,000 - 50,000 depending on skills and experience

Mobile Application Developer

You should have at least 1-3 years experience of developing Mobile application using J2ME and MS Compact Device Framework. Experience with server side applications with multiple interfaces on web and mobile devices is preferred. Experience with mobile game development is a strong plus. 

Salary Scale: Rs 15,000 - 35,000 depending on skills and experience


Creative Designers

2D Cartoon Animator - Flash   

You are expected to make 2D Flash animations. You work will include character design, background scene design, animation and voice over. You will be working closely with our UK based team to design right character and story line. You should definitely send your demo work (swf files) with your CV to be considered for this job.

Flash Designer

Self-taught designers who have achieved a high level of design and those with multimedia related degrees are welcome.

2D Illustrator

You are expected to make drawings to help people understand complex scientific or technical information. The illustrations will be used in textbooks, reference books, instruction manuals and technical sales brochures. For examples of the required work, please have a look at 2D Illustration Samples section of the document.

Required Skills:

 Salary Scale: 5,000 - 20,000 depending on skills and experience

2D Concept Artist

You should have imagination of an artist with creativity. Given a situation, you should be able to make story line for 2D\3D still and animation with preliminary sketches. You should be able to translate story line into digital art using vector and raster tools (Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash, Freehand).

Salary Scale: 10,000 - 50,000 depending on skills and experience

 3D Design and Animation Artists

You should have good experience with 3D design and animation using 3D Studio Max and Maya. You should be able to demonstrate your skills during the interview. 

Salary Scale: Varied depending on skills and experience 

Page Layout and Book Design Artists

You should have experience of working in publishing industry with skills in book layout design, typesetting and page design using Adobe InDesign. Experience with Illustrator and graphics design tools is a plus but is not required.
